This AAV expresses EGFP driven by a liver TBG promoter.
TBG is a 0.8kb hybrid promoter based on the human thyroid hormone-binding globulin (TBG) promoter and microglobin/bikunin enhancer. This hybrid promoter has been used for liver-specific transgene expression.
EGFP is derived from the Aequorea GFP with a Excitation/Emission spectrum around 488nm/507nm. It is the most commonly used imaging probe. Other fluorescent proteins with similar emission spectrums are Emerald, and T-Sapphire
