AAV with CMV promoter driven mCherry

This AAV expresses mCherry driven by an ubiquitous CMV promoter.

This roughly 0.6 Kb promoter is the commonly used human cytomegalovirus (CMV) immediate-early promoter/enhancer (CMV/IE).

mCherry was derived from DsRed through extensive mutagenesis. It has an Excitation/Emission spectrum of 590nm/610nm. mCherry's emission spectrum is similar to the following fluorescent markers: mRuby (Em=605nM), JRed (Em=610nM), mRFP1 (Em=607nM), and HcRed1
