SRF-Luc Adenovirus
Cat. No: 1666
Availability:
Immediate
Name:
Ad-SRF-Luc
Expression of the Photinus pyralis (firefly) luciferase gene is controlled by a synthetic promoter that contains direct repeats of the transcription recognition sequences for the serum response factor (SRF).
When this Luc reporter adenovirus and an uncharacterized gene are cotransfected into mammalian cells, the activation of endogenous protein kinases initiated by the cotransfected gene product will result in the activation of corresponding trans-activators which in turn stimulate luciferasae expression.
